Learn To Ride Programs 1 - 4
The rider levels 1-4 are based on the Western Preparation Manual which can be purchased through Northern Ridge Equestrian
Centre, or the Ontario Equestrian Federation. Once the outlined tasks have been completed and fully understood, the rider
then has the option of being tested to receive the level certificate before moving on to the next level.
If the rider chooses not to be tested they will still move ahead and work on the next level. For more details on the
Western Preparation Manual and what the levels consist of please speak to Marj.
Day Camps
We will be once again offering March Break, and Summer day camps. Camp will run Monday to Friday, 9:00 -4:00. The camp
will consist of two rides per day, stable management, nutrition, and horse health theory. Kids will have access to a fridge
and microwave and must dress appropriately for the weather. A liability waiver must be signed before children are dropped
off on the first day of camp.
Camp cost is $280 for the week, we supply the riding helmets.
Quality Horse Boarding
While boarding your horse at Northern Ridge, we will provide daily feed schedules, turn out in large paddocks and pastures,
daily stall cleaning and minor first aid upon request. We will also set up all vet and farrier appointments. All horse owners
will be notified of any emergency! It is highly recommended that all horses have flu/rhino vaccinations due to the large
number of horses on the farm. All new horses MUST be up to date on vaccinations, and deworming.
Part- Boarding & Leasing Options
For those of you who do not own your own horse but would like the responsibilities of owning one, now is your chance!
For one monthly fee you will have the opportunity to have one riding lesson per week, and unlimited riding on your own time.
This will be the test to see if you are ready to own your own horse. Also check out the lease options on the price page.
